Who we are. This service is operated by Descobrilança Unipessoal LDA, NIPC 516940503, R. 2 da Matinha, 5D, 1950-073 Lisboa, Portugal. Contact: info@allportugal.one

What we process. When you ask a question, the text of your question is sent to our server and passed to our AI provider to produce an answer. We store in our database: the text of your question, the language, the length of the answer, the response time, a random session identifier and, if you are signed in, your account identifier. We do not store the text of the answers on our server.

A random session identifier is kept in your browser's local storage. It is not linked to your name or email and is created the first time you open the app.

Your conversation history is kept in your browser's local storage only. It never reaches our server.

Voice input: speech recognition is performed by your browser, not by us. Depending on the browser, the audio may be sent to the browser maker's speech service under its own terms — in Chrome to Google, in Edge to Microsoft. We never receive or store the audio. If you prefer not to use it, type your question instead.

Voice output: the text of the answer is sent through our AI gateway to OpenAI to generate audio. The audio is played in your browser and is not stored. If this fails, your browser's built-in voice reads the answer instead; some browsers use their maker's online voice service for this.

Account data: only if you sign in (to the administration area, or to approve an AI assistant's access to the guide) — your email address and display name. If you choose "Sign in with Google", Google confirms your identity to us.

Who processes data for us. Lovable (hosting and AI gateway); Google (the language model that writes the answers — currently Gemini; if the operator selects an OpenAI model in the settings, OpenAI instead — and "Sign in with Google", if you use it); OpenAI (speech synthesis); Supabase (database, sign-in and image storage); Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel), for audience measurement and advertising — these two only if you click "Accept analytics". Speech recognition is done by your browser, not by us (see above). Some of these providers operate outside the European Economic Area. For Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel such transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses; the transfer safeguards for the other providers are under review.

Legal basis. For Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel — your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking "Accept analytics" and can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. For the other processing described above (answering your questions, question records and account data), the legal basis is under review and will be stated here once decided. Microphone access is a permission you grant in your browser and can withdraw at any time in the browser's site settings.

How long we keep it. Question records are kept until you delete them with the "Delete my data" button or ask us to delete them; a fixed retention period is under review. Account data is kept while the account exists. Data in your browser stays until you delete it.

Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. The "Delete my data" button in the footer erases your local history and the records tied to your session identifier immediately. For anything else write to info@allportugal.one. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

What we do not do. We do not sell your data. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are not loaded unless you accept them (see the cookie policy).

The service. All Portugal Guide is a free voice assistant that answers questions about Portugal — its history, culture, geography, gastronomy, traditions and everyday life.

Answers are generated by artificial intelligence. They may be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong. They are general information, not legal, tax, immigration, medical or financial advice. Before acting on anything that matters, check the official source: AIMA for residence and nationality, the Autoridade Tributária for tax, SNS 24 for health, and the relevant municipality for local rules.

Availability. The service is provided as is, without warranty. We may change, suspend or discontinue it at any time.

Acceptable use. Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, and do not automate bulk requests.

Intellectual property. The design, texts and images of this site belong to the operator. The questions you write remain yours.

Law and disputes. Portuguese law applies. For disputes, the courts of Lisbon have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

Essential storage. We use your browser's local storage for: apg-session-id (a random session identifier), apg.conversations.v1 (your conversations, kept only on your device) and apg-tts-voice (the voice you chose). If you sign in to the administration area, Supabase stores an authentication token the same way. Your cookie choice is stored as guide-consent.

Analytics and advertising cookies — only with your consent. Only if you click "Accept analytics" do we load Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited), for audience measurement and advertising. Before you choose, and if you choose "Only necessary", neither is loaded and none of their cookies are set. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (kept for up to 2 years); the Meta Pixel sets _fbp and, when you arrive from a Meta ad, _fbc (kept for up to 90 days). We send page views and general events — never the text of your questions or answers. These providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

How to withdraw or remove it. To withdraw your consent, open "Cookie settings" in the footer and choose "Only necessary": the cookies _ga, _ga_*, _fbp and _fbc are deleted and nothing more is sent. To erase everything else, use the "Delete my data" button in the footer, or clear site data in your browser settings.
